2. What data we process and why
- User account: your email address, to send you the sign-in link and manage your private area.
- Profile and memories: if you create your private area, your name, your profile photo (optional), what Zoe remembers from your conversations or what you ask her to remember (for example, your playing level, your goals or how you feel on court, which may include health data if you choose to share it) and the files you upload. These are only stored with your express consent, which you give when you register, and you can view, correct or delete all of them at any time from My area.
- Conversations with Zoe: Zoe runs on ChatHost (chathost.ai), a platform owned by Arandai Intelligence itself. We process the messages you send and their replies, your approximate location inferred from your connection (country, region and city, without storing your IP address), your browser language, the date and time of the conversation and an anonymous session identifier.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.
3. Legal basis
- Performance of the service you request when you create your account (art. 6.1.b RGPD/GDPR).
- Your consent to store your profile, memories and files (art. 6.1.a RGPD/GDPR) and, if you share information about your health, your explicit consent (art. 9.2.a RGPD/GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your data from My area.
4. Automated responses
The replies from Zoe are generated by an artificial intelligence model. This process does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Service providers (data processors)
- Anthropic (Claude): generation of the replies from Zoe. It does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
- Supabase: authentication, database and file storage, on servers in the EU.
- Vercel: website hosting.
6. International transfers
AI processing takes place on Anthropic servers in the USA, and Vercel hosting may involve servers outside the EU. These transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
7. Retention
- Account, profile, memories and files: for as long as you keep your account or until you delete them.
- Conversations with Zoe: a maximum of 12 months from the date of the chat, unless you request their erasure earlier.
8. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to alex@arandai.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, Spanish Data Protection Agency) (aepd.es).
9. Cookies and local storage
This website only uses technical cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in. The chat may use the local storage of your browser to remember your conversation. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, so no consent is required.
10. Minors
The service is not intended for children under 14. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please write to us and we will delete it.
11. Important notice
Zoe is a support assistant and does not replace care from a healthcare or psychology professional. Do not share sensitive health information that you do not want to be processed.
